Hi thank you for letting me join. Need some help. My fridge in my caravan has stopped working and we have now took it out. I want to no can I put in a new fridge without hooking it up to the gas. Just the electric hook up instead. Many thanks

The simple answer to your question is Yes, you can install a fridge and only hook up the electrics, But as most caravan fridges are multi fuel devices, why not keep all your options open and have it hooked up as the one that has been taken out?
The other very important thing to bear in mind is that the installation, maintenance, repair and removal of any gas appliance should only be carried out by a person who is fully gas competent. adn who knows theri legal duties to seal and test.
You will find there are very competent mobile caravan specialists who can do this job, giving you peace of mind for you and your family with regards to safety.
