Hi All,

We are returning to caravanning after a five year break and have just put a deposit on a 2004 Bailey Senator Arizona End Bathroom which we are purchasing from a dealer in Derbyshire. We will be travelling over from Ireland in March to collect our van and will stay locally for a couple of nights to get familiar with it. Also looking to purchase a Porch Awning for the Bailey anybody with suggestions or where best to buy.

Regards to all,
Barry the Wing.

Hello Barry the Wing, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum and welcome back to the caravan fraternity after your break.
Is there no chance of negotiating a good discount off your awning from the dealers? Having already paid the deposit you might have left it a bit late but if you don't ask you don't get.
We bought a porch awning last August from a caravan dealers who were selling their ex display models that had been erected previously in their showroom on E-bay it was at a Buy it Now - make a 'best offer price so we had a bargain. There are sure to be similar bargains between now and March, we had free delivery on ours and we are pleased with it.
Have a good trip across the water and good luck with the Bailey.

Hi and welcome to the world of caravanning. We are from the north of ireland and haven't seen many irish folks on here. The forum really provides a wealth of information and getting help and advice from others is great. We have been back to caravanning for just over a year and love it.
Good luck with your new van. By the way which ferry are you using to cross the irish sea we are booking for the summer and aren't sure which route to use but thinking of Dublin Port to Holyhead.

Hi Olive,
We are using Dublin Holyhead Stena Line Ferry as the A55 from Holyhead is a great road to link up with the Motorway network. I totally agree this is a great Forum with lots of information and helpful People.

Regards,
Barry.
