I am after some help. We have bought a 1992 Lunar Clubman 500/5LE which we are really happy with, unfortunately after searching everywhere on the caravan we cannot find the weight limits. We tow it with a 2004 Ford Mondeo Estate 2.0TDCI. Any help gratefully received. Many thanks

Whatb I thought would be a good start was to contact the Lunar Owners Club but it says the site is under construction so no links work.

The only other info I could find was the club secretary. Maybe you could write to her and ask if she could help ....

Taking a rough guess I would not expect it to be more than 1250-1300kg, but more importantly-

What does it tow like?

Is it badly affected by sidewinds and overtaking vehicles?

If you have already been using it and it tows fine why worry about the figures?

If you really need to know take it to a weighbridge.

I have a friend who uses a Mondeo to tow a Corona 556 which should be heavier than yours and it tows fine.

We used to own a Lunar Clubman 5l0/4, 1992, lovely van, we towed with a Mondeo 2.0LX, good old work horse. Sorry I cannot help you with weight limits.
