New Van

We have our new van!!

Yesterday we towed our trusty 1988 Perle Custom to the dealer in Newport and collected our brand new Mendip Magnum 556.

Only realised how big it was when we pushed it back (shoe horned) into the drive.

Towed like a dream all the way home, The Winterhoff hitch is great.

Loaded up and cannot wait until the weekend now.

oh well done you have a fab weekend! I know how excited you must be we are picking up our new elddis advante 534 next friday 2nd June an I just can't wait! We were let down badly with our dealers on a new abbey adventura 317 which wasn't in the end going to be ready for our holiday ( 3 weeks in France -5 weeks this sunday and counting!!!) i have even been and bought all the toiletries to go in the vanity unit and a new duvet and cover ( matching the decor of course!)---- how sad is that!!! watch this space I will be telling everyone about next week!!

Caroline your not sad I did the same, the kids wanted sleeping bags but they had to match the upholstery ! Even the melamine plates had to be the same co-ordinating colours,bought all the little plastic wine glasses and tubs for sugar etc !!!it was great fun !!!!

Scarletsfan, I hope your van is as reliable as our Herald Magnum 590/5 has been. We have had no problems with it since we brought it new in 2000.

only been caravaning 11 mouth. we got a new van and we cud not wait. have a good time.
