Nissan Navara

I was thinking about buying a Nissan Navara , that was until i went on this website www.knackerednavara.co.uk it has certainly made me think twice

Hi Joby,

I'm probably going to get shot down in flames from all the Navara owners, but i would avoid them too. We have a fleet of them at work, and after a few "incidents" we've been told not to use them in four wheel drive on the road, and not to use them off road at all (this was the main purpose of buying these vehicles, what a waste of money!!) due to them being unsuitable for such use.

Also, i don't know if you saw a report on the news a couple of months ago, where they faired very poorly in crash tests carried out. One area was on front end collisions, the leg area for front seat passengers wasn't very well protected.

I'm sure you'll find something better value for money!

Ny friend bought one on a 56 plate and he was over the moon with it for the first six month then it suddenly dissapeared and a shogun turned up in its place, the only thing he has said (becouse he hates to admit he has been wrong) is you learn from your mistakes.

I do know he prefered to tow his digger on the trailer with his transit van rather than the navara but he still does this even with the shogun.

I had been reading up about the Navara ,and visiting web sites for prices ,so i had my heart set on one ,until this morning when some one sent me that web site on ukcampsite ,to say i was dissapointed is an understatement , thanks for your views
