no charge

hi there i have a ABBEY FREESTYLE 520 and when i put it on charge at home and go into the caravan to flick the charger switch the light comes on but theres NO charge coming through to the battery to charge it,some1's told me it could be the whole unit,which is a ESM UNIT,can any1 please help

It could also be a duff battery or possibly one of the fuses is gone - check the battery and also check all the fuses. I had a similar problem recently and the main 15 amp fuse had blown.

Agree, My Geist also loses charge from the tow vehicle. I think it is when the battery is a little low, and the Fridge and charge curcuit exceed the 15Amp fuse rating, replace the fuse, turn off the fridge and all is well.

Because the the charge dial (red to grren does'nt move it stays on red?
