Hi Janice,

We were in York for a week May Bank holiday and what a place, fantastic, your never short of somewhere to go,the Jorvik centre is a must and Castle museum,The Minster,Railway museum, the York Eye(like the London Eye)I could go on, do use the park and ride its brilliant. The place we stayed at was Naburn Lock, website www.naburnlock.co.uk it was a very friendly place and the owners Peter and Catherine are a very laid back couple who it seems will go out of there way to make your stay really enjoyable.Try the riverbus into York from the site its brilliant. We couldn,t at the time get into the Caravan Clubsites as they were fully booked. You,ll enjoy York marvellous city.Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for the advice as this is our first time touring in England, we need all the advice we can get.

from your comments looks like we should enjoy York and the kids will not be stuck for thingso see and do.

Will look at Naburn Lock Site, As we are not members of the C.C.C (as not many sites in N.I ) would you think it would be worth while when touring England ??
