We are looking at buying our first brand new van. We have almost definately decided on an Abbey or Swift based van. The 315 is very suitable for what we need with the end shower good heating for year round use. Have any of you got any advice or had experience with either Abbey or Michael Jordan?? I know there are a few other dealer specials based on this Abbey or equivelent Swift model so if you have experience with any of the above please let me know.........

Thanks.

Hi Rich.

We bought a brand new Abbey Aventura last year. It has proved to be faultless in every way so far....apart from the broken roof blind, but that was caused by 1 too many bottles of Red Wine!!! And easily remedied.

Would definatley recommend it.

We bought our very first caravan from Michael Jordan, they gave us a really good deal on a second hand van, they also did us a deal on a starter pack ie awning, battery, step etc.

We were really pleased with the service we received and would buy from them again.

Thanks for the comments... I have asked because we are going to be close(50 or so miles away) to Michael Jordan's in a couple of weeks and their special edition looks to be exactly the same spec as the one from other dealers but is quite a bit cheaper. So we would like to make the extra bit of a trip to see them. At least with reccomendations from you all even if we do not buy from them at least we know they are a good dealer and it will not be a wasted trip....

THANKS.

We bought an Expression as our first van from them and found them great. We have just sold it and had great service from them the whole time we owned it.

We have had an Impression and before that an Expresssion from Michael Jordan, both were excellent vans, exceptional value for money, the upholstery is different from the Aventura so it could be personal choice, Impression no longer available, I suspect it was taking sales away from Abbey GTS Vogue, friends of ours have 2005 Expression and it is a lovely van and was less to buy than the Aventura which had less fitted to it.I think the MJ specials are recognised as one of the best dealer specials, PC magazine had use of one for a while and always rated it highly.
