Order of forums

Why does the order in which the forums are shown have to change with every entry ?

Trying to have a good Sunday afternoon browse is a bit frustrating as they keep changing places. Agree some of this may be self induced and partly the fault of some good rioja at lunchtime, but don't see any reason why this has to be.

Perhaps Mod will tell us ?

The latest posts go to the top of each thread, and in turn the threads with the most recent posts are at the top of the pile.

I knew it did that but I, too, find it a real pain! I would rather read through the various forums (fora?) and if I had to stop part way through, I could pick up where I left off. I would know, from the time, whether there had been new postings on thos forums I had already browsed.

If you keep using the back button it will take you back to where you were before you selected the most recent post.

This lets you catch up on a subject before moving on to another.
