our caravan

We have purchased an Elddis crusader Storm and we were told it was a 1991 model but when I got an owners hanbook from Elddis the layouts shown do not match ours. It is a twin axle 4 berth with end washroom. Can anyone tell me what year this layout was?

You may be able to decode the VIN or the CRiS number from the windows Mine includes the letter/figures CM 02 presumably for Coachman 2002. Of course this will be when the van was registered with CRiS but not necessarily when it was made.

The VIN number is allocated by the maker at time of manufacture and is stamped on the chassis.

It doesn't matter how long afterwards the caravan is used, sold or registered with Cris, the VIN number remains the same.
