We have just booked for the Practical Caravan Rally in September. Apparently there are still quite a few spaces left, are there any other forum users going?

Hi Lol, we have sent our booking off, you replied to me about the Wyoming, so we will be the ones with a badly fitting awning and puzzled looks!

That sounds interesting, where is it? It would be good to put a face to some of the names. Also, some of the convos could be quite colourful. Cant help wondering what the Lord looks like and if he has any grouse estates in Scotland.

Hah ha ha!!!! Yes my Lord, you and your Ladyship fairly trek around! The furthest south I have ever been was the Cotswolds in your green country last year, but I intend to go for a week there and a week somewhere on the south coast this year. I am hooked on the series Doc Martin with Martin Clunes and that area of glorious England looks superb. Will be rooting for England in Germany this year, must be one of the few Scots who will be. Although you would be surprised.

You would be better off rooting for Hereford in the play offs in the Conference league.

Well thank you Andy for cheering for England, indeed you are a rarity. I will mention you in despatches for your kindness, hehheh! This topic came up not so long ago and like most of my countrymen at one time I would support the home nation in whatever (as long as England wasn't involved ;O) but if England are playing, the Jocks, Taffs or Paddy's would support Iran rather than England. Hmmmmmmmmm I wonder why? lmaoooo. BTW Andy, I bet you migrate south in summer to avoid those pesky midges, the b*ggers loved me :O)

The second leg has been used as a skittle for ten pin bowling.

Can't have that Keith, not on a Wyoming, think of the neighbours. Do what we do, laugh comically at the awning as you pass, and sneak in round the back when no ones looking....

I know a few that will be supporting England at the world cup. What else have we Scots got? It does not look likely that the Scots are ever going to have a team there again!

My wife will not go to the west coast of Scotland in the summer because of the midges. I keep telling her to keep applying the Avon or Nivea, I cant remember, but its called Skin So Soft!

My wife is an Avon rep Andy and I used it. All I got from the midges was " oooo you smell nice sweetie" just before they bit me. Her Ladyship never had one bite, I told her they don't go for bad meat :O)
