Pembrey Country Park

Does anyone know if the restaurants at Pembrey Country Park (Caravan CLub site) are open in the evening?

If they are not is there a restaurant or local pup near by?

There is no restaurant or pub on the Pembrey Country Park CC site. There is a cafe in the park itself but it does not serve full meals - only snacks. The village of Pembrey is a fair walk from the site - a good 35/40 minutes. There is however an excellent take away fish and chip shop just as you enter the village back from the park. Can highly recommend it. Unless the weather is beautiful I would say you would need the car to get to the village from the site and return (especially if you have had a feast of a pub meal and liquid refreshment).

There are lots of local pubs near Pembrey Country Park, in Pembrey inself there is the Ship Aground which serves food, or the Ashburnham Hotel which has a carvery. If you venture to Burry Port which is about a two minute drive from the site there are loads of pubs, the Cornish Arms serves lovely food and a bit further along The coasting Pilot inn also serves excellent food, in Burry Port you also have various fish and chip shops. Nothing is within walking distance but its hardly what you would call a drive.
