ok thanks. but sorry to seem stupid, but is this to heat the van then.Hi John
'Wet' heating when applied to caravans usually means Alde central heating which uses fluid to heat underfloor pipes in a caravan.
In the UK the Alde system is often fitted to caravans at the top end of the market.
Thanks our outfit has blown air, used to the carver system new van has truma system. we away tomorrow for a week so will be used to it after a week.Yes John, wet heating is really wet central heating which heats the caravan.
Other systems include gas fires and gas/ blow air heating which blows air warmed by the gas heater through ducts into specific areas of the caravan.
Alde wet central heating systems are reputedly the most efficient although they can add a considerable amount of weight to a caravan which must be taken into account when towing or choosing a towcar.
