Hi one and all.

We have a phantom alarm and tracker come standard on the caravan. Its pretty good to be fair.

I seem to have to niggle with it though and just wondered if it was normal or not. It will sit happy for a couple of weeks, then all of a sudden i might go a day or night when it constantly goes off and i have no understanding why, Ive played with all the sensitivity settings but cant seem to find a pattern to it.
I was just wondering if anyone else had one on here and could confirm if they are just a little sensitive and this is normal, or does it need looking at.?

I remember the old car alarms that worked on a tilt sensor and a kick to the tyre used to set them off, or a loud car driving past!? I know this alarm has a tilt sensor and PIR but i have no idea what makes it go off on those "off days".

Doe anyone have a view on them or any experience on them?

Your Phantom is a tracker not an alarm, sometimes they are interfaced with your alarm so it alerts the tracker if the alarm is activated.
What is the make, model and year of your van.

It doesn't give what make of alarm it is, could be a number of things , fault pir or just a spider.
You could isolate one item at a time to see if that make a difference, the pir and tilt sensor could be wireless or hardwired.
Are you getting calls from phantom when the alarm goes off?

yes, one night it was every hour through the night! then fine a 3 weeks! then a day of 2-3 hours of alarm going off, then fine for a week. that how it goes!?

all a bit bizarre. im sure there is a function to set the alarm without the PIR, so will try that for a few weeks and see oft the tilt sensor.
