Porch side crossing window

I have a small Avondale caravan and would like to buy a porch for 3 season use. But virtually all porches are of a size and shape where the sides will cross a window on the caravan. I am concerned that in some conditions movement of the porch side will cause the window to become marked and/or the porch side to become worn. Am I worrying unnecessarily? Is there something I can do to prevent this occurring?

have the same problem with my avondale osprey,if you miss the window out it goes to far round the awning rail and if you cover the window the door catches the awnind side.i have it slightly on the window,as long as the pad covers the window its ok,never had a problem yet

I have the same problem, the porch awning comes down half way across the small kitchen window of my Swift Challenger. Have not had any problems with the set up though.
