I wasn't the last time I went there with the van - about seven years ago, as it was full of cranes, lorries etc. But someone may have been more recently.

hi, there is plenty off parking at the dock side. but be carefull we had deflectors stolen, and our freinds had the spare wheel cover from ther 4x4 stolen. Hope the new AT ship is better than the pride of bilbao. in my opinion the was cabin more of a torture chamber than a comfortable cabin. would never use it again rather drive down as we have in previous years,we shall use the tunnel next april when we go down. ps we live in Portsmouth!! have a good time regards peter

Petercoachman,

Thinking of trying Bilbao option next year but what was the problem with your cabin. We have always found cabins on P&O longer cross channel routes and D.F.D.S. North Sea to be adequate for the time involved - perhaps we have just been lucky.
