There was no PCv readers rally for 2016 but all forum members are made welcome at the Woosie get togethers, have a look on the chit chat message board for details of the 2017 meets.

What is the difference?

And more important, define a "woosie".

Im thinking its one of those things that you have neither to get wet nor feed after midnight.

1 The difference amongst other things is that Woosie meets are not organised by Practical Caravan magazine

2 Click Here and read the thread.

3 You could be right. It's probably best not to feed them after midnight.

Do you guys wear white sheets with pointy hats made up of old bedding. I only ask because we havent had white bedding for years, and I tend to think red/yellow/blue striped bri-nylon or even the black satin wouldnt quite fit in. B)

And imagine the static from the bri-nylon. :(

Smart casual seems to be the Woosie dress code for social gatherings, not sure why anyone would connect such a fine upstanding group of friends and acquaintances with the predominantly American pointy white sheet morons.

As a non Woosie myself, albeit an honorary Woosie who attends the get togethers, I haven't been subjected to the rigorous initiation rituals of the inner circle, but from the information that I've gleaned some thick rubber gloves might be useful

So far the furthest North we have got is Pickering in Yorkshire. This year we are in Stratford. But never say never!

Is there any plans for a readers rally for 2017 , or has it died a death ,

Hello! Sorry for the slow reply.

As yet, I don't know if we will have a Practical Caravan Reader Rally this year. We've been looking into options and will let everyone know when we have a decision. Thank you for your patience.

Hi Mel,
Are there many (or any) haggisjocktartanmidge domiciled Woosies ?
Perhaps if there were enough they could have a 'local' meet.
Cheers.

As Keeper Of Records (KOR) I have looked back and found that RobTel is a Woosie member from Lanarkshire, but I notice in his postings that he doesn't admit he's a Woosie. :( . His Woosie title is Sir Rob T. You could have a Twosome. ;)
