Hi
Can anyone recommend someone to knock out a dent in the sidewall of our Senator Carolina in the Basingstoke area? I've had one quote of £180+VAT which seems expensive, but to be fair I cant compare it to anything yet.
Any help, much appreciated. Thanks, Brian

Is it a bad one, or in an awkward position? Otherwise, some people just stick a reflector over the dint, with a matching one at a similar level elsewhere, so it looks like it is part of the build!

Difficult to say without knowing the size, depth and position of the damage. But a friend paid about £300 for a 6 inch gouge repaired very well by Caravan Medic. Ask to see examples of the repairers work. There was a similar thread on dents posted sometime last year which showed a before and after repair photo and the poster was very pleased with the repair. Try a search.

thanks for your comments - the dent is just to the left of the kitchen window and a 'double dent' where the friggin' pole bounced when it fell out of it's pad when taking the awning down - it's not too deep, but I do want it repaired properly as I will sit in the awning staring at it all spring and summer getting depressed! A sticker or reflector wont look too good so would rather take it on the chin, get it sorted and next time be more careful!
cheers

Brian
