I acknowledge receipt of your recent e-mail regarding the above. On most Club sites which have recently been re-devloped there are play areas and facilities provided for children to use. The Wardens are also empowered to ensure that all members and their children comply with The Club's Code of Practice on all sites. Should you see this being abused at any time, please bring it to the Warden's attention immediately so that he has an opportunity of resolving the situation.

The Club has no plans at the present time to provide Adult Sites since this goes against the philosophy of The Caravan Club in that all sites should be usable to all members.

Your comments, however, have been noted and these will be taken into account when the subject next comes up for review. Please be assured that members' views do assist us in ensuring that The Club operates for the benefit of its members.

If I can be of any further assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The club's code of practice - is this written in tablets of stone or is it a recommendation and up to the site warden to enforce or otherwise. The play are at Pembrey consists of a few swings, slide, etc. with no room for any kind of ball game. Does this mean that no ball game should be played on the site? How are children going to be able to take this especially as the world cup football games are coming up shortly? What about tennis with Wimbledon, rugby in Wales, etc?

Hi,

I think a responded to your other thread... I am a member of the CC and do have a child of 10 who like most boys his ages loves to play football, rugby and cricket.... he does however know that his isn't allowed to play any of these around caravans etc., and only on the playfield (if one is provided) if not we go off to the park or beach and play it there. He has other games (board games etc) that he can play if no field. Up to now all the sites we have choosen have had a seperate field... I feel that it is up to the parents NOT to let there children play with balls unless a field is provided it is not fair and respect should be taught form a young age.
