In our history we have had an old Swift Corvette - in about 2009 and loved caravanning so much we upgraded to a super Sterling Eccles Jewel. We had a teenager by this time who unfortunately wasn't a massive fan - one was one wasn't and so we sold the caravan and purchased a narrowboat. We loved boating and its relaxed way of life however after a few years we realised that we didn't use it nearly as much as our caravan and hankered after the freedom of the open road. On the boat we ended up doing the same trip every time due to its moorings on the canal and it does take such a long time to go any distance. We work long hours and so we just weren't using it. We sat there one day and said - shall we caravan again??? The boat is sold and we are waiting to pick up a Swift Challenger 570 - second hand!! We can't wait!!! We are off abroad for two weeks tomorrow and all we can think about (as well as our hols of course) is picking our van up from the dealers!!! Now the teenager can stay at home and we can hit the open road. Can't wait.......
