Hi, this a site we have been looking at, so I will be interested in any comments.Their Brochure is very informative, but always best to have the facts from someone that has already been.

Hi, Ripley used to be one of our favourite sites but over the last couple of years it has failed to live up to our standards. The owners are a bit miserable to be honest although this is not a reason for not going there; the ladies' facilities although clean are cold and unwelcoming; there is / was a duck pond and a childrens' play area; there is also an area given over to statics. The site is in a good area for walking, shopping and general sightseeing. Hope this helps.

Hi, We like this site and go a few times a year, as it's within an hours drive of home so handy for weekends. We find the facillities quite acceptable. Although I can't comment on the ladies facillities, I'm pretty sure my wife would have informed me fairly quickly if they weren't very nice and we probably would not have gone back. On the surface, the owners may seem a little miserable but they are quite friendly if you chat with them, as are the wardens. The duckpond is still there and we think it's nice to see the ducks waddling round the site, especially when it's quieter - my kids love feeding them close up. The play area is adequate, there's a ball games field, an indoor pool, a few video games, pool table and table tennis. Also plenty to do nearby - we'll certainly continue using this site, infact booked for a long weekeng in June and can't wait... Simon
