The forum search is working ok, it all depends what is entered into the search box.
I've just entered "damp caravan" without the "s", pressed "Go" and 62 pages of results dating back to 2004 were shown. If you don't get satisfactory results using one search criteria try varying it slightly.

Despite Steve's reassurance, I think the problem is that the search comes up with everything with either 'caravan' or 'damp' mentioned! Sixty two pages of results is unhelpful really - what we should be able to do is search in the Title for anything with 'Damp Caravan' or in the text for the same thing. I've tried lots of searches on here, and they might get loads of results, but actually finding one of any relevance is not easy! The posts are not even ordered by date, or relevance, just series of very haphazard posts.
I've tried searching for more specific things, like when I've posted something in particular in a post and want to find it again - and it's just impossible to find specific things like that. I really do think that something should be done to upgrade this facility - it can't be rocket science, and it would be much more useful if you could search for things in the same way you can on most other caravan forums.
