A nice site with nice views over the sea and Berwick. The East Coast London - Edinburgh mainline runs immediately behind the site with regular trains but I didn't find it a problem. Usual up to standard club facilities. My main concern about the site, being a dog owner, is theres no dog walk, the wardens say to take them on the beach which is about 10 minutes walk away. I was a little peeved because on arrival we picked our pitch. I then noticed that what I thought was the pitch post was in fact a piece of drainpipe over the post. Painted on the pipe, but not in view when pitching was the word closed so my wife asked the warden and she said it was out of use. I started to hook back up when a car couldnt get by so in my haste I wrenched my knee (3 weeks later its still no better). We found another pitch then went shopping. When we arrived back I was most annoyed to now see someone on the pitch we originally chose erecting an awning. For the rest of our holiday I was hobbling and my wife mostly walked the dogs unless it was somewhere close.

Some of the pitches back on to the railway line.

The electric passenger trains during the day are very quiet but the diesel goods/stone trains can be quite noisy during the night.
