Site is to usual CC standards. pitches at top of the site back onto main railway line which is good for anoraks and not too noisy for the rest of us. Reasonable walk into town which is quite interesting and historic. Harbour at Eyemouth just to north much more attractive in my opinion - local boats are a very distinctive shape. inland the Tweed valley is excellent with places to visit - e.g. Coldstream and Kelso, castles e.g. Floors and very pleasant countryside. Site can be very busy and advise advance booking - particularly around time of Great Northern Run.

Stayed there for a few days but preferred quiet CL at Kelso which may not appeal to teenagers.

Another site in the same general area which might appeal is Ord House. Don't have the web link to hand but a google search should find it.
We were there a few years back and found it well run, clean and tidy. Some pitches had water and waste connection. There are a number of statics on site, a small (at that time anyway) clubhouse with bar and restaurant but nothing like the Haven type sites.
It would probably be a little less distance to walk into the town than the one you asked about.
Also worth a visit in Berwick is the museum located in the army barracks, mainly features the Kings Own Scottish Borderers but there are (or were) a few other exhibits also.

Give us a chance , some of us still have other things to do too, like washing the dogs.LOL.

I stayed at Ord House 5 years ago and Seaview 2 years ago.

Seaview. Excellent views across the sea!! BUT all the top pitches with the good views were very very small. In fact even though they knew the length of our outfit they didn't have any pitches that would fit the Wyoming. We ended up taking two pitches by the railway , sideways on with one side elevated about 9 inches to get laterally level. A dam hard job getting in and out . Everything else was up to CC standard and the railway was not obtrusive. The site is outside of Berwick in a little place called Spittal. Just on the tidal estuary of the River Tweed. Will we go back? No. Well only in a much smaller unit.

Ord House site is mixed statics and tourers. When I was there their toilet / shower block had again been voted the best in the North. And they were superb. On site bar and games room. The picthes are very private with hedges separating a lot of them and very spacious. You'd have no problem with your outfit. I'd stay again

Berwick upon Tweed is a historic town that has changed hands between the English and Scots some 13 times or so. The Tourist office run guided walks through the town . Well worth the two hours. In the area plenty to do / see , Holy Island/ Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle, and the whole of the at area of the North East coast line.

You rang Jo-Anne. We were at Seaview 4 weeks ago. It's a very pleasant site with, as you'd expect, very pleasant seaviews. Pitches can be on the smallish side but the vast majority of 'vans coped ok. The railway line at the back is unobtrusive. There is a bus stop right outside the site with a regular service in to Berwick. Berwick isn't a particularly attractive town in my opinion, but is a good base for a holiday. There's an Asda close by and a Morrison's a few miles away on the road to Eyemouth. Conveniently, there is a McDonalds next to Morrisons which has free wi-fi. Both Newcastle and Edinburgh are within an easy day's drive, plenty for teenagers and adults. One of our favourite places was Eyemouth. A working fishing town where you can feed the seals in the harbour. Then there's Giaccopazzi's..a really good fish and chip shop right on the harbour. All this with free parking! Hope this is useful. Best wishes, Butler

As pevious comments the views from your pitch are fantantic, it can be very windy, are you light sleepers, because the railway line is behind you band the trains run all through the night, expecally noisey when the goods train passes.
Their are council houses above and below the site, its quite a climb up the hill to the site entrance when you are walking, so be prepared.
