hi all

I have just booked a week at the above park as anyone been [it looks great on the web].Plus my OS map shows the last mile into. the site is very narrow less than 4 metres. Are there any passing places along the route. l would hate to meet someone as good at reversing as me coming the othe way. [that should read bad.] This autumn i am going on a towing course.

Hi,

The last time we visited Seaview International was in 2004, and it's a great site - facilities to caravan club standards, friendly owners, etc.

The narrow road is only an issue for the last 400 metres or so, but people leaving the site can see all the way to the end of the narrow section and there are passing places. So I can't recall any problems whilst we were there. And it could only be a problem if you arrive early whilst vans are leaving the site before noon.

If you look at your OS map, Seaview International is at Boswinger and the access road that splits off (in an inverted Y) from the road to Gorran is fine, it's just the last wiggly bit after the T junction that has restricted width.

And if you visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, then also visit the Trelissick (NT) gardens near Truro - if anything they are even better. We went on a RHS bamboo propagation and speciation course there, and there is a very good commercial grower of bamboo nearby (in the grounds of an old mansion).
