I need some advice, I have the Seitz pleated blinds in my van and have noticed small pin holes in them,
Obviously you dont notice them at night only in the morning when the light is shining on them, the van came with 3 months warrentee do you think i have a good case for a claim??
I wouldnt be bothering but i have done a search on the net and cant seem to find anyone that sells that type of blind. its the type that pulls up with a flyscreen that pulls down.

We had that type of blinds on a previous van,and had the same pinholes, sold the van before they became a problem, but I seem to remember that at the time Swift were replacing under warranty, the ones we had had a silvef foil finish,I suggest you take it up with your supplier before the warranty runs out.

Yea thats right, they have the cassatte that runs right around the window, they are good because you dont get the light coming in under the blind in the morning its just a pain with the holes and i am afraid the holes will cause it to rip along the pleat.
Got a funny feeling the dealer will try to wriggle out of replacing them.

This is a known fault. We've had all the pleated blinds replaced under warranty in our Challenger, due to pin prick holes.
The best way to see if pleated blinds have pin-prick holes is on a bright, sunny day go inside the van, close ALL the blinds (including roof) give your eyes time to adjust to the dark and then look at each blind in turn to see if you can see daylight through tiny holes. Ours tended to be mostly along the folds in the pleat.

Hi meals on wheels
We have the pin prick holes on all the blinds and the roof light above the bed, i know Swift were replacing the blinds back along but the problem, is that i bought the van second hand from a dealer, So dont think Swift will now pay out for new blinds on a van thats 6 years old.
The dealer has given me 3 months warrentee, i did mention to them of the holes but they didnt seem to want to help. maybe i should be a bit more pushy but dont like to kick off at people.
