I haven't been to Sennen but I have been to Bodmin in October last year. Set on 2 fields the first with some hardstands, the second as grass only with a tarmac road. The second field is more level than the first. Just off the A30 and adjacent to an industrial estate but far enough away not to get the road noise.Very handy for ASDA and Brewers Fayre which are almost immediately behind the site but you have to walk about 5+ minutes to get to either. Handy for eden project etc. We went the last week of the season so it was very quiet and rather wet but plenty of hot water, showers and toilets clean only a few cobwebs up in the rafters (weird this lots of the sites we stayed at last year had no ceilngs just up to the roof). Negative points - one night there was a large extractor fan running all night from one of the nearby buildings could have even been ASDA but it was a very still night so any noise was noticeable. It's otherwise very very quiet and we are planning to go back there this year. I can't comment on what it's like peak season but I would recommend it anyway. For an idea of the area put the postcode into google earth - we don't go anywhere until we've checked out the area with google earth.
