Hi Patey

I need to double check the alarm literature that came with our S6 Wyoming.I've left the handbook bits in the caravan at our storage. So I'm sorry if what I now remember is not totally correct.

There are two systems

1.Tracker alarm system.

2. Tracker monitor stolen vehicle recovery system.

1. This has a pir that detects movement within the caravan. It has a delay of 40 seconds approx before the alarm triggers. I am sure but not certain , without checking , that it also has a tilt detection mechanism.

2. This will detect movement of the caravan and after a period of time start transmitting a signal to the base station.

May I suggest you e-mail Kelly Watts at Bailey who I am sure will give you the text book answer.

Cheers

Alan

Prior to taking delivery of my new series 6 Wyoming I emailed Tracker and asked them that question. I was informed the Tracker alarm has , as well as the p.i.r. ,a movement sensor which detects movement of the caravan and then activates the Tracker system. It does NOT have a tilt system as required by insurance companies to gain an insurance discount. I am insured with the Caravan Club who also confirmed that.

Seems a pity to have an alarm with p.i.r in a caravan but no tilt sensor. Bulldog do a tilt sensor that fits onto the A frame but its not cheap.
