I doubt the terminals were surplus to requirements, caravan manufacturers would not fit them unless they did something.
As JCL has suggested its most likely they are part of the pump control circuit, in which case they would push fit onto the connector block with the red and white wires. The polarity should not be important, as teh switch simply completes the circuit to run the pump.
What is more odd is why the showerworks without them connected. It suggests that another tap somewhere in the caravan is already turned on causing the pump to run... Or a previous owner has changed from a switched tap system to a pressure switch controlled system - in which case the wires are not needed to each tap.
It now raises the question of what is causing the fuse to blow. But which fuse is it thats blowing, can you enlighten us to the circuit involved?
