Site near Great Yorkshire Showground

Hi can anyone recommend a good site near the above showground (or 15-20 mile radius) which will be open in January?

Hi Lisa, I looked at High Moor Farm Park, but found it's not open in January, we have stayed there before and could have recommended it, but as I say, it's not open! Quick search brought this one to look at, we have never been there so can't recommend it, but if you get stuck for anywhere else, it might be worth a go.

We stayed at Rudding Park 25 years ago and I seem to remember it was ok, (Peacocks wandering around the gardens etc). The main house was empty then but it looks like its a hotel now so the site may have been developed a bit. It was almost next to the show ground so, unless they have moved it, I expect it still is ! Their website says it is open to 31 Jan 2006.
