Not one of the ones you mentioned but the CC site at Godrevy Park is by Gwithian sands. We haven't stayed there but friends love it and go for 2 weeks every year.

Thank you for your suggestion my Lord. Although not members of cc was willing to join but looking at the site and availability it is fully booked for three out if the five days of our crust week which is disappointing but as it is also the first week after schools go back appreciate many of us go away then
Thanks again for the suggestion

Hi Di
We've always used Polmanter just outside of St Ives.
Gwithian sounds a great site and very close to the beach too. We used to holiday at Gwithian sands as kids and always enjoyed it. I might try the site myself next year.
We'll be at Chy Carne by the Lizard next month. When are thinking of going? Maybe we could have a Woosie meet.

Hi Di
Just back from Cornwall and it rained every single day to a greater or lesser degree (mainly greater) as a result the only one i found was Atlantic Coast which is right next to Gwittian beach (albeit over the dunes) and on the opposite side of the road to Godrevy CC site.Very handy but all I could see were static vans also there I passed a number of sites in the greater area called Atlantic.
Sorry not to have been able to check the others but as i said the weather was awful and we didnt go out much.

Addendum:-

Both the other two sites are next to the beach and again no need to use the car to get to the beach (saves car park charges) I saw them both but only whilst driving past .We went on Gwithian beach because it was the beach we always used last time we went to Cornwall in 1991.

Hi Plotter
Many thanks for the update, really appreciate you taking a look, sorry weather was so bad, we have taken the plunge and booked Gwithian Farm, as did some digging and found Atlantic coast had mainly statics and only few tourers looked on google earth and very small touring area. Also sent all three sites questions and Gwithain Farm site rang me straight back and followed up by email and this was a Sunday, very helpful as we now have a dog, the lady I spoke to gave me lots of info of the dog friendly beaches, just keeping fingers crossed for September and hoping weather is kind to us.

Thats very efficient with such a quick response probably because the site is a tip and they are desperate for customers.lol

Only joking I too would be inclined to go with them if they are that efficient and reactive/proactive.Have a great time at least you will not have car parking to pay for,you are also handy for the barley pop shop.

All I can say is that I know we made the right choice a lovely site very clean tidy and dog friendly - short walk over the dunes to the beach and pub across the road both of which are dog friendly - will be coming back here again!! Staff very friendly and helpful would recommend to anybody and going to vote this one on pc top sites as best one we have stayed in a long time
