Snooper Sat Navs

I have a 4 year old Navman N60i but can't update. I'm very tempted by the Snooper S900 Ventura Lite and the S5000 Ventura Pro as both cover Europe and have caravan site locations already installed.
Any comments from Forum members welcomed!
Thanks
Mike

Hi
I purchased the Ventura S7000 earlier this year for my mega trip thru France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Czech Rep & Poland and it did not put a wheel wrong. It also has multi-route which I can pre programme up to 10 camp sites and preview routing before I travel.
My in-car BMW satnav was worse than useless with only main roads in Europe.
Used to have a Garmin which I called Loopy Loo because she kept taking me in circles!!!!!!

The main negative with the Snooper is that you cannot add your own POIs otherwise it is supposed to be a great piece of kit according to many reviews. For more info have a look here.

Hi
i had the Snooper 6000, kept it for two months, it was rubbish, we went to France and everytime we went in a tunnel the sat nav froze the only way we could get it working again was to reboot it... great when you are stuck on the outskirts of paris, once in the UK it took me down a dead end... great for a twin axle and twice took us down really narrow lanes... it short it was a pile of junk. i sent it back to the shop and they very kindly swopped it for a Tom Tom truck.. there was no if's or buts from the shop (sat nav warehouse) so i do supect it was a known fault !!
the tom Tom truck is great, really good software with lane guidance and downloadable POI's

Approaching our turning in heavy traffic around Rouen our SDnooper "experienced a serious exception and has to shut down". This happened on two occasions during our holiday and once it tried to send us up a footpath! Not impressed for the price. Keep the map handy!
