I cleverly took off both to put in new bulbs..🙄Compare it to the one fitted to the other side of the caravan?
I worked that one out by the amber lens but is it then brake light then side light or side light then brake? Now you didn't say that did you!
Usual format is indicators outermost
Operate each light in turn, then you know which one is which.Do yo mean the whole unit can be fitted , either way round. ie, Amber light to the left or right.
I can understand your dilemma.
At that age there will be so that must be on the off (drivers) sideIs there a fog light too?
I often wonder why manufacturers put profit over safety and only have one foglight on the rear of some cars?At that age there will be so that must be on the off (drivers) side
Best ask the HMG people who wrote the rules🤪I often wonder why manufacturers put profit over safety and only have one foglight on the rear of some cars?
I’m in the I want two fog lights!Because that's all the law requires. One high intensity (rear) red light. Either on, or to the offside of, the vehicles centre line.
But anyone visiting from Europe doesn't have to relocate their rear fog light to the opposite side (and neither do UK drivers visiting Europe)
Many vehicles have the wiring for two, but the manufacturers then use the nearside location that a second fog light could be fitted into, for a single reversing light. It saves them a couple of quid per car, and that adds up over large volume production runs.I’m in the I want two fog lights!
Touaregs just have one on the offside - the matching item on the nearside is just a reflector - it's theoretically possible to fit a left-hand unit from a LHD car but there are issues with the canbus wiring.I’m in the I want two fog lights!
