I'm doing a repair of my 21 year old caravan which has extensive damp.

i'm trying to keep the costs down whilst at the same time making sure that the job is effective.

i've read a few topics were soudal fix all was used to seal the external of the caravan and i've noted that reed caravans are supporters of this.

how extensively can it be used in the caravan. as its solvent free i assume i can use it to bond polystyrene to the alluminium and the plywood? (i'm going for 4mm plywood instead of wallboard, availability and cost are key here for me)

CAN I use it on the rails, handles, lights, vents, under the rubber of the window seals, skylights (where else?) and SHOULD I use it or something else. I would be particularly keen on reed caravans input on this aswell as they appear to use it for past 10 -15 years.

is there anywhere that i should use mastic tape. with such an extensive job should i also go all out and replace all rubber seals of the windows given the age of the van?
