Fancying 3 weeks at this site in July, with wife and 3 year old little girl.

Anyone know if its suitable for toddlers? Want somewhere, quiet where we can unleash her without worrying about her coming to harm. Is it enclosed, plenty of space to run about etc?

Anyone know any alternatives in the St Agnes/St Ives area if not?

Hello Ian

We have stayed at StAgnes many times and also had a seasonal pitch there. Its a lovely site, with large grass area's (although it can fill up a bit on August Bank Hols!)

Plenty of space for a 3yr old, although there are some slopes as one side of the site is higher than the other.

PorthChapel beach is within walking distance down some steepish coastal paths or you can drive down the lane (half a mile) the beach is mostly exposed when tide is out. Dogs are not allowed. There is also Perranporth Beach about 5 miles along the coast - a really lovely beach with wonderful soft sand rock pools - ideal to paddle in! St Agnes also has a beach which is popular but is not so large. Its a lovely stroll into St Agnes from the site with typical village shops and pubs either along the lane or coastal path - the views are breathtaking and you can see St.Ives in the distance and the lights on the sea are lovely at night. Have a great holiday!
