WE are looking to stay at a really nice camp site around the St malo area in August for nearly a week. Does anyone have a recommendation> Would be great to have direct access to a beach.

Also planning an over night stop between St Malo and Zebrugger on way back. Any suggestions on camp site also welcome.

Thanks

Julian

Not a reccomedation as I've never tried it, but I seem to remember a site called, I think, Camping Halliosis or similar, near St Malo. I'm sure others on here have spoken about it.

Julian,

We have just returned from 3 weeks in France and had our last two nights at Chateau Galinee near St Cast which is just over 15 miles West of St Malo.

It is a Castels site so has all of the normal facilities including an excellent swimming pool area.

There is no direct access to the beach but St Cast has an excellent beach and is only 3 miles away.

Website address is www.chateaudegalinee.com

Regards

Richard
