Hi Guys! I'm one of those very rare of creatures - a Welsh female caravanner!
I went to check that my van had survived last night's horrendous storm and decided to give it a thorough going over with a damp meter. There was no damp on any of the walls but I was horrified when I got a positive reading from every single inch of the van floor, even under the beds.
Am I likely to have a leak or is the positive test due to condensation or damp coming up from the ground outside?
The floor had started to get spongy last year - worse by the door - so I'm thinking along the lines of delamination, which I know can be cured with an injection of resin.
However my immediate worry is the positive damp reading from every inch of the floor. Any ideas?
