The owners will probably get a brand new van so shouldn’t be too much of a problem. The occupants of the Ford ST2 that hit the van side on had a lucky escape. Seconds earlier they would have had a massive side impact from the combined weight of the Transit and caravan. May not have survived such a crash. Very fortunate indeed.
Not sure if it was stolen from a dealer as there is no number plate, although the thieves might have removed that, but lack of it would draw it to the attention of any police who saw it.

The three irregularly spaced vertical strips of what appears to be adhesive tape would suggest that they have indeed removed a number plate, unless it was a second hand, nearly new van at a very lazy dealers ...
I saw the strips but it seems to me the one thing that is bound to get you stopped if the police see it is no number plate. The wrong one might not be noticed, although they might put two and two together if a twenty year old Transit had an 18 plate showing on the caravan.
