hello all

we have recently changed to a bailey ranger from a swift rapide.

the swift had excellent underbed storage, however....

the bailey has less underbed lockers & most of them have wiring, heaters, water tanks etc.....

there is only 1 that doesn't have anything in it, but is too small to carry all of our bedding.

is it ok to put things like pillows, sheets etc... in those other lockers?

please give your advise it is much appreciated

thanks

you could try the storage bags sold in supermarkets that you suck all the air out with a vac

Most caravans have pipes, wires etc in at least one of the lockers. Just make sure that what you store doesn't snag with the cables and pipes. If you were really worried you could cover them with something but we've never bothered in 30 years and never had a problem. Remember not to cover any vents in the floor though.

I put up a divider under the bunk, just a piece of light plastic, after one of the pipe connections was damaged by my lady while packing.

I would recomend you do this, and do not cover any of the electrical devices, the battery power supply in particular.

The only bedding we take are two sleeping bags and a cover for when it is realy cold.
