John,

Sheepcoat Valley CC Site is excellent, it is a walk from Brighton Marina, you can get the bus into Brighton.

Also Normanhurst Court CC site in Battle which is slightly inland is also an excellent site.

Thanks Gill C. Sheepcoat is very high on my list at the momment but felt a few options would be a good idea.

Battle might be good, it is near enough to the coast for us two oldies to explore

Battle Abbey, Hastings etc is within easy driving distance of Sheepcote which is in turn handy for Brighton centre by bus. Devils **** is close - was there three weeks back watching hangliding and paragliding. Great view plus the free entertainment.

"SWMBO needs a GKUTBS. but I haven't the B***s to tell mine"

lolol i`ll have to ask and see if i can give her one!

I actually have friends in Brighton and maybe meeting them whilst out might not go down to well with the missus.

Actually the wife isnt atall bossy, I just like to tease her sometimes (she said I could add that last part ;-) )

John, The last words of a dying King George V, according to some sources, were "bu**er Bognor" - quite why I do not know. Tap the two words into Google for more details. Hope it does not put S.W.M.B.O. off.

Well we enjoyed our stay at the CClubs site there.

Bit noisey during the evening with the local youfs using the business park carpark opposite for mad motoring practice but that seemed to tail off after 10PM. OK OK so realy we set up the 'wrong' end of the site and I suspect the other end would have been quiet.

Cant say 'bu***r Bognor', we quite liked it and the area

As Arnie and Mrs john M H have been known to say...'I`ll be back'
