Swift Challenger 2006

We have just ordered a Swift Challenger 520 and will be part exchanging our coachman amara.

Has anyone tried the new swift yet?

check the roof before you buy. ours looked like riverdance had run all over it. dealer fixed all other problems but roof build is not very good

Got a new Challanger 540 arriving mid June, it is our second van

but our first new one. Please dont start talking of troubles with Swift vans, the excitment is already causing me sleep problems, if I then have to start thinking that my new fixed bed beauty may not be as perfect as the picture shown in the magazines, or the sample van we sat in at Lowdhams...oh no its all too much.......

Dont panic,I bought an Abbey from Lowdhams but no fault of theirs it had to go back to Swift to have a complete new roof,my latest Abbey also from Lowdhams seems ok though,a bit of a sag in the roof allows a puddle to form which is really great for the birds to drink from a feature Swift dont advertise!

We have just taken delivery of a Cardinal 312 - and while setting things up today discovered to our horror the there is NO inbuilt water filter

Having always had one on our old Elddis Slipstream this was a nasty shock.

So we are having to buy a jug filter - to keep the kettle and coffee maker as free as possible from limescale [ we live in a soft water area]

I`ve posted my problem on here on the 540,suggest you look at your van too,also bought mine from Lowdhams!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was checking them out the other weekend, i must admit, its a beautiful van and the finish (workmanship) looks good too.
