Hi there,
I have a swift conqueror 2002 580. It has an inboard water tank. Do i have to use the inboard tank ot can i just run from the aquaroll as you do on vans with out inboard tanks.
I have a switch that says inter and external on it, when the switch is selected to external and the pump is plugged in outside it runs, when the switch is nither position the outside runs, when on internal nothing unless the micro switch is activated as expected.
I have isolated the inboard tank via the valve and proceeded to fill with water from the external pump with external postion on switch selected, with the hot tap furthest open, when I have running water there with no air I shut the tap, the pump then continuously runs and will not shut off even though all taps are closed. The inside part of the whale pump mount has a pressure switch hovever it has a a blue cap and appears to be no adjuster (on my 1996 van there was a screw that you adjust and a locking nut). Is that correct i would just like to use the aqua roll but obvioulsy can have the pump run constantly.
If i fill the tank and then switch over to internal the sytem works fine so just wondering only pumping from the tank when the taps are lifted. Although the tank when filling has no external cut off it willl proceed to pump until it is coming out of the overflow.
If anyone can advise me how to get the pump to stop so i can just use the aquaroll that would be great or if anyone could let me know that this van was only designed to shut off the internal pump that would also be helpful as it is puzzling as to why the van has an isolater to the inboard tank if you dont have to use it.
Regards
