SWMBO Rear Ended!!

The Sorie got rear ended last night. Barely any visible damage except the Alko tow ball cover suffered deep scratch and a cracked red reflector in the centre.
Spoke to an Engineer who checked the entire tow bar . He recommended we replace the tow ball and retaining nuts and bolts on the basis they are not designed for impact loads.

Will change it all this afternoon and have the new ones correctly torqued up.

Daydreaming we think. Anyway he has been decent and is sending a cheque. He did offer a direct transfer but we prefer to keep our account details private.

Perhaps it's time for one of these, As Parkys say's if they were on the phone or texting it would have got them ...

I have thought about putting the wife's dash cam in the rear window of the van when towing ...
