We pay for priority and also have shielding priority. Wife was on for 105 mins this morning. She hoped to get the 22nd but had to settle for the 21st.

Not Tesco, but we had no issue booking a Christmas slot with Morrisons however we are hoping to secure one with Sainsbury.
You can only start booking end of November. Took a lot of searching to glean that bit of info. LOL!
Thanks but it’s not something I get too worked up about. We’ve got Lidl, M&S, Morrison’s and a Tesco all very close, such that apart from Morrison’s the rest are walking distance along with the Sainsbury’s. So we are gradually getting the stuff in that we need. And there’s still the Lockdown 1 strategic reserve to draw on 😂😂
Where i live Tesco, Aldi, M&S, Iceland, and Asda are around the corner . We were at Tesco last night got most of the food in for christmas day . the rest will be a home delivery ..
I only use UHT milk, I got a taste for it years ago working on ships and it never left me , I use it in everything even Yorkshire Pud !
No; my wife’s lockdown 1 reserve has probably been carried over from the 4 minute cupboard. I don’t question her rationale on matters of sustenance.
Just had our weekly Tesco delivery. Chatting to the driver about how busy they are and having to book slots well in advance. He said it’s being misused by some who only order small amounts. Thereby taking up a slot from someone that really needs it. His worse was this morning he did one delivery which was only two 1.5 litre bottles of gin. No food. Not even lemons, crisps and peanuts.

But seriously there will always be those who abuse a system; unfortunately it is human nature.
When the delivery vans come down or road, you can see the different preferences, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, we have Iceland best i get my boots on and drive down to Lidl's.

We got our tesco home delivery the driver with his mask he put all the bags on the doorstep gave them anti virus wipe .
We use Morrisons or Sainsbury and sometimes both. Sainsbury far superior to Morrisons. Annoyingly with Morrisons if they do a substitute i.e. you order 4 x 2L Coca Cola zero and they deliver 24 cans at a higher price you have no alternative except to accept the delivery.
Yesterday we ordered 4 x Thatchers at £4 and they sent a box of 10 Thatchers at £9! Also ordered IAMS Senior cat food on special a £4 for 8 units in a box and none available but going onto their website it is still available on special discount?
