Probably this question has been asked before but can someone please elaborate on the use of Tesco Points in payment of Channel Tunnel fares?

We have a new Tesco opening in our town within a month and we shall probably make use of this.

As I understand it whatever number of points are collected on your account you can quadruple the value to offset against Tunnel fares. Is this correct?

Are there restrictions as to what time they can be used?

Is it possible to use points collected by other family members or friends?

Any other caravan-orientated activities these can be used for?

Hello Chris, The Tesco Clubcard goes something like this. For every pound you spend at Tesco you earn a point on your clubcard. You can also earn points by recycling bags and by using a Tesco credit card. Every point is worth 1p. Every 3 months Tesco will send you vouchers which you can either spend in-store at their face value, or, you can exchange them for deal tokens to be spent on a whole list of things. Details are on the clubcard website but they include the channel tunnel, holidays, restaurants, days out etc. This way you get 4x the value of your vouchers. When you spot something you like on the website, simply enter the codes printed on your vouchers and the deal tokens arrive a few days later. A few years ago, I saved up
