Well, I didn't have to use a clairvoyant in the end. When I checked my emails this morning, there was a lovely email from the Lord (no, not THE LORD, Lord B).

He is fit and well and still chasing the stable girls. We'll leave it at that. He was over whelmed with all the posts asking him to come back onto the forum.

He is unable to meet up with emmerson and I in June as he will be travelling up to the Kintyre peninsula. (You know what these aristocrats are like, probably didn't want to slum it with the lower classes).

He has been looking in on the forum and notices that there appears to be more Welsh people on here so he's had to double his efforts on Offa's **** and his archers and Men at Arms which has cost him a considerable amount of cash.

He is hoping to return to the fourm but is a little disheartened at some of the killjoys on here. We'll leave it at that.

Maureen - he asked me to apologise that he never got to take you on his yacht. It is in dry dock in the Bahamas but he promises that as soon as it is re-commissioned you will have your Mediteranean cruise. He emailed a photo of it, I'll post that in a bit.

Plotter, he said to pass on his best wishes to you and your wife and he hopes that she soon returns to good health.

He mentioned Lol's cod piece but it's probably best not to go there.

Colin and emmerson, he said thanks for all the support and the posts etc enquiring where he is and if he is ok. He appreciates that.

He does miss the banter and discussions and hopes it returns to how it used to be, not so long ago.

He sends his best wishes to the other forum members too.

------------

So that's it - he's still alive and I think he might reappear soon.

Well done Lisa and three cheers for the Squire who is known as LORD B. Come back soon sir and bring your light hearted anecdotes back so that we can all join in the humour that you previously brought to this forum.

Oh dear - I knew that comment would seem to come across wrong.

I don't know what happened to make him leave, that's what I meant.

Of course it goes without saying everyone misses him

Come back Lord B!

Lisa it is not an anti climax - it is great to know that he is alive and well and has not forgotten us. The sooner he returns the better for all. Any news about his home life with the milk maids, chaimber maids, etc.? I bet when he returns he will be writing a book to bring us all up to date with life at the Manor.

My lips have to remain sealed about that Colin, as you don't know if her Ladyship reads this fourm.

Now, the good people at Ladbrooks took all my money, when I went in and bet that the news would be you are joining an ABBA tribute band which will be covering the country over the next year and your only means of travel would be a pony and trap. I got 50-1 with that.

I think you owe me some sort of explanation, lass. That and

Hi Lol

Thanks for the confidence in me.

I guess the bookies must have thought I was a Bismarck to give you 50/1.
