The perfect site

Hi, there are a number of sites both in the UK and France that we would describe as 'perfect' for our needs. However, this year we thought we would seek out pastures new, while hoping still to find a site that meets all (or most) of our particular requirements somewhere in the south west of France or even over into Spain. These requirements are:-
1. ACSI card site
2. Dogs allowed (with good walks)
3. Good size pitches
4. Banks of river or lake with direct access (for fishing and Kayaking)
5. Quiet, preferably smallish (no organised dancing, shows etc.)
6. Not too much shade as going in May - July (evening sun would be nice)
We're not too worried about general facilities as use the van but resonably close to village or town would be good. Any recommendations would be welcome.

http://www.camping-angouleme.fr/ .......not ACSI but cheaper with longer than 7 night stay discount anyway.

Been many times :)
For some reason Gafferbill's reply was shown as the O/P and the only way in which I could place the posts in the correct order was by using quotes.

We have been to France a couple of times and Spain so there might be some useful info on my website as below. Mainly we go to Germany and Austria now.

Not an Asci site but at less than 8 euros night including EHU not a problem. Herisson, near Montlucon. See CC book Very quiet, good supermarket within 5 miles, good if old toilet block. Not sure about kayaking (may disturb the fish) Google Herison. Historic town, castle of the Dukes of Burgundy etc.
