Hi all, just off for a long weekend in our Swift and found the flush pump on the C250CWE toilet will not work. Had this problem on site last time, found fuse blown but still did not work after replacing fuse. A few tries with the push button and it suddenly started up - ok for the rest of that trip. Tried filling with milton treated water this morning and leaving for a few hours guessing it may be the mould problem clogging up the pump. Fuse ok and power appears to be getting to pump as lights dim slightly when button is pressed. Does anyone know how to remove pump so I can give it a good kick. It appears to be in a holder that clips into place in roof of cassette compartment, I have released this but did not like to pull too hard in case it damaged something. Searched various sites including Thetford but no specific information. Dont have time at the mo to take it to my dealers.
Any help please???????

Hi Bill
Hopefully I can help. Had same problem on our swift, found pump body had cracked and seized the pump... don't realish how much you miss the bog flush until it breaks!

You need to access the from the outside cassette locker. Suggest you use a small mirror to look up just inside compartment and you should see two blue finger things, these need to be pulled apart alittle bit and the whole pump assembly should drop down.

Hi Bill,
I had mine leak on our Bailey in July whilst in France so had to remove it and bodge it with silicone sealant till we got back. You are on the right track, its only held on by the clips either side of the pump body to keep it from falling down. They don't want to shift though and its all the more awkward where its positioned, the mirror idea is good.
