Couple months ago,Returning home from a trip cleaning out the fridge, Taking the salad tray out was amazed to discover black mould on the underneath of the tray and the fridge floor.
On our last trip after about 7 days fridge working okay , pulled the salad tray out to discover another pool of water, my wife tends to completly fill the fridge up,would this be the cause, I have the fridge on max setting on electric.any advise to what would be the cause extremly helpfull.

The main cause is overfilling the fridge/
There must be room allowed for air movement around the items stored in it.
The other factor is that your fridge has an automatic defrost setting which kicks in every 92 hours to prevent the formation excessive ice inside the fridge.
