Hello, just returned from a very successful first weekend in our Abbey GTS. We've found a small problem with the fridge door. It appears to have dropped slightly and it needs adjusting to prevent the bottom of the door from catching at the bottom? I've found the manual on the web, but there is no mention about this. Is it possible, and is it neccessary to take out the fridge from its housing?
Thanks in anticipation.

My fridge is an Electrolux and its door was also too low. My door is held by screws at top and bottom. I removed the top screw and the door lifted off the bottom screw. I placed a couple of washers on the lower screw before replacing the door. This has raised the door so that the locking catch now holds firmly.

Thanks John, beginning to think no-one was going to reply?............I can see your piont and agree, but I've never removed a fridge from its housing before! Is this an easy task.? I would have to do this to remove the top plate of the fridge?

Whilst the fridge is only held in by four or maybe six screws, there's an awful lot of disconnecting to do. 12volt wiring; 230volt wiring; the gas connection and the flue assembly. Some guys might find it daunting.
